Sunday, 19 May 2013
Hi everyone, happy Sunday. I hope that you are keep well. The other day Rhys had got hold of my makeup and he rooted out my MUA Glitter Ball palette. I decided to play around with it as I didn't touch it since I got about a year ago. When I got it first I didn't think much of it. As I thought the shadows were very dusty and not very good quality but then again it less then a fiver.
That's the reason I didn't use it any more. But the other day one of my brushes was on the damp side so. This was the perfect opportunity to try this palette wet. Now why I didn't use it wet in the first few weeks don't ask me.
All these swatches are with a damp brush. I was very surprised on how pigmented all the shadows are and how long wearing they are too. I used this palette yesterday for a communion that I was invited to. This is the look that I came up with it.
I used the third last shade on the bottom row and in the crease I used naked from the Naked palette. I like to use a matte shadow in the crease so that my eye will not be too shimmery. Then on my top lash line I use creek again from the Naked palette, if you don't have the naked palette you can use any matte light brown on your crease. The black from this MUA palette is good too for the liner part. Then I just smudged it to make it more smokey. I thought it was very nice look. Anyway back to the review. In over all
- Good quality
- Use it wet to get best results
- Cheap and cheerful
- A bit of fall out but not much
- Good range of shades
Thanks all for reading my blog. I love you all

MUA Concealer Review
Hey everyone. I hope that your weekend has been much more fun then mine. I stood wrongly on my ankle yesterday and I can't really walk properly. Anyway enough about me lets get started on this review. I bought this concealer. This is my first ever liquid concealer. The shade that I have is 'fair' I got it so that I could use it under my eye area as a highlight. To be quite honest with you I don't have much to conceal so that's why I like it for a highlight. I have to say it great to conceal my dark circles the small bit that I have. Because its the lightest shade in the store I thought that it wouldn't be great to cover my red chin that I sometimes get, but it does a great job at that too, if you to use it on your red patches on your face, you would have to powder it with a powder that has a bit of color to it so that it wouldn't be so light. I hope you know what I mean, I am not that good sometimes to explain things. I really like it. The consistency isn't too liquidy and it not too think either which I really like. As I always use it under my eyes it doesn't crease which is an other bonus, but I do always powder it too. The MUA Cover and Conceal is my favorite concealer and for the price of it I love it. Its less the two euro.
I have to say this is the BEST conceal ever. I will try the Collection 2000 and I will have to compare them two together.
I hope that you found this helpful.

Nail Art For Beginners #2
Hey lovely readers. Today I come to you with an other nail art for beginners. As you may know by now I love nail art that very easy to do. The reason for that is I have a son that just runs around now and its very hard to do my nails. Waiting for them to dry and all that stuff, so I normally do my nails during the night when I get a few minutes to myself. The other day I came up with this. Its very easy to do and you don't need a lot of tools to achieve this nail art. I used a silver stipper but if you don't have one you can always use a toothpick dipped into glitter polish.
First off I cleaned my nails, took off the old nail polish and cut my nails. As I tend to bite them when they get a bit long. Apply a base coat to protect your natural nails from going yellow.
For my base color I chose this Avon in 'Coral Reef' you can choose whatever color you feel like at the time. This is my fist time using the color since I got it and I love it. The color is so beautiful, and is very opaque too.
With a glitter stripper or a different color stripper mark a center point at the tip of your nail. Then imagine where your half moon of your nail would be and connect it down to the center of the dot that you placed to make a triangle shape. Then carefully fill in the triangle and then your done. Do with will all the nails. For your ring finger you can turn the triangle shape up side down to make it look more interesting.
Apply to topcoat and your done. I hope that you have enjoyed this nail art. I know its so simple and your like 'this is way to simple but if your starting off with strippers this is the best way to practice. Practice makes perfect. Thank you for reading my blog and Ill see you all the next one.
Lots of Love
Christina xxxxx
