REVIEW: Poundlands Makeup Gallary Makeup line

Hi everyone. A while back I purchased make up products from Dealz better known as Poundland over in the UK. Dealz/ Poundland is your cheap store where everything is €1.50/£1.00. I was kinda curious about the make up but at the same time didn't want to buy it because I didn't know what it would do to my skin. Even though I can wear almost anything and I will be ok, at the same time I am always cautions of cheap make up.

One day I decided that I would put my fears aside and try this make up and see what happens because if you don't try you will never know. The next products that I will review for you today as just some of the products that I purchased. I got a few more which are still in the testing process.

The first thing that I reached for was the foundation. don't ask me why because the foundation is always the last. The shade that I picked up is Ivory. Which I liked because as you know I always reach for that shade.

When I first tried in on I loved it because it matched my complexion to the 'T' so I thought. I did notice that it was a little grainy to the texture. Once it was blended in it looked very nice. A couple of hours later I noticed that it went very patchy and my dry spots very noticeable. Which didn't settle with me. I tried it with a primer, moisturiser and on a bare face and it everytime I got the same result. In saying that I will not be repurchasing the foundation again.

Eyeshadows:
The three eyeshadows that I picked up are as follows.
Nude (2) Cappuccino (9) Brown Truffle (10)
I can't say enough good things about these shadows. All of these beautiful shades are supper pigmented they are supper easy to blend. I really can't say anything bad about these shadows. I love they so much and for the price you just can't go wrong.

I know these swatches aren't the best as my hand is on the dark side over the summer. These shadows are the best for an everyday eye look.

The last thing that I am going to talk about it the lip glosses and lip sticks. I have good news and bad, so I think I am going to start with the bad and that is the lip glosses. I purchased two and I only could find one on the day I was swatching for this post. These lip glosses are not the best they are pigmented but very sticky when I applied them to my lips. I could really tell tell that they were cheap glosses. On the good side the lip sticks are amazing. They pay off I got was unreal, as you can see from the swatch they are super pigmented. Super moisturizing on the lips. I love they both. Sorry guys I can't remember the name of them from the top of my head. I will be posting pictures of these babies on Instagram where I will have the names of them on there.

I hope you understood this post. If you have tried any of these let me know what you think about them. I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by.

Rita Ora nail polish by Rimmel Review

Hi everyone. Last week I bought myself a few new nail polishes from Rimmel. This Rita Ora collection has been out for a while now but I wasn't to pushed about it, do when I seem them on offer 3 for 2 I gave it a chance.

1. White Hot Love
This is just a basic white nothing too over exciting about it. It takes about two to three coats to get it good colour.  I wasn't to impressed with it as it is very sticky. I like to apply think coats and I didn't like how it left gaps.

I have to say I am really disappointed with this I have other 60 second polishes and they are not like that.

2. Breakfast in bed
This is a minty green I really like this shade but again it's not the best quality. After a second coat it's better but still doesn't come up as opaque as I would like it. They are cheaper and same price nail polish that are much better then these two.

I am glad that I only got the two. It would have been a waste of money if I went and got them all. We all have to look after our money theses days.

Did you try this collection? What do you think of it?

Rimmel Kate waterproof gel eyeliner review in Emerald

Hi everyone. Today I am going to review something very exciting well to me anyway. Rimmels waterproof gel eyeliner in Emerald from the Kate Moss line.

For the past six months or so I haven't been wearing eyeliner mainly because I can't find the eyeliner brush that I had and the fact that my other gel eyeliner that I have I could be allergic to it. As it was hurting my eyes every time I would apply it.

When I was in Superdrug during the week, they happened to have deals on the Rimmel stand. I always loved Rimmel.  I like the idea that a brush comes with the liner.

When I first applied this gel liner I was in love with the colour and formula. It applies effortless. The brush that is supplied in this pack is easy to use and I much prefer it to the angle brush that I had.

This was a short review but I will give you a better one once I use it more.

Do you have this product? What do you think if it?

Thanks for stopping by.

Favourite Red lip products and review

(L-R) 1.MUA Intense kisses unfortunately the name of this lipgloss has rubbed off and I was trying to look it up online but I can't find it! It's a rich raspberry red shade. The staying power of this lipgloss is amazing. I usually line my lips with a red lip liner first to prevent the gloss from bleeding and also to make it last longer to, and no it works perfectly. My favourite thing about this gloss is its not sticky and it applies effortlessly.

2. Avon Crushed Rose. I have this a while and I forget what collection this came from. This shade had some sparkle but its not too intense just right I think. It's on the sheer side but with a lip liner underneath it brings up nicely. I also like to use a pink lip liner and go over with this gloss it's fab. The staying power isn't the best but I don't really mind all that much. The only bad thing about this gloss is its quite sticky.

3. Rimmel (170) Alarm. Of my god I have this lipstick for so long that you can't even get it any more. I used never wear red lipstick before so it was in my collection for a good while before I got to it. This is a blue tones red and it's amazing. I love how it makes my teeth look whiter then they are. Staying power is ok. The only down side to this lip stick is that it bleeds a lot with or without liner. It's a soft and smooth lipstick and it doesn't dry out in my lips.

4. Avon Red Kiss. I can't seem to find the full size of this lipstick. It's a deep raspberry shade. It's not summer shade but I still love it. It's a moist product and goes on really nice. The best thing is it doesn't bleed it has to be my favourite shade of them all.

TIP: this is how I take off my red lip products. It annoys me that red lipstick and gloss alike leave your lips red so to prevent from this happening I take it off with a baby wipe. I would have lots of baby wipes around and it works with no problem!

What is your favourite lip shade?

Thank you all for stopping by!

Review: Wet n Wild Spoiled Brat trio

Hello my lovely readers! Today I gave a review for you. I know this isn't a new product but for me it is.

I got this about 2/3 months ago, I didn't have any reason to use it do it was just sitting in my collection. The reason I purchased this trio over 'Walking On Egg Shells' was over the pink shade and the silver. I have heard so much about Walking On Egg Shells that it felt like I already had it.

This trio just drew my attention and I had to have it. This is my first time doing a look with this palette. This is what I came up with

I used the pink on the lid.
Pink: this shade is amazing and I love how pigmented it really is. I wasn't expecting it to be.

I used black on the outter comer of my eye.
Black: I have to say this has to be the most pigmented black I have ever come across. It's even better then 'Creep' in my Naked palette. A little but would go a long way with this black.

I used the silver in my inner eye. To highlight my eye and make it appear to be wider.
Silver: This shade is like the other two very pigmented and excellent.

I didn't find that the shadows were anyway flaky or what there was much fall out from them. I would recommend this trio to my friends. I will be purchasing other products from Wet n Wild.

I used two lipsticks with this look so that you could see what it was like. I like them both. The red is a lip liner by Barry M and Alarm lipstick by Rimmel

This pink lipstick is from Avon it's called
Pink Holiday. I have both lipsticks quite a while so I don't know if you could purchase them any more.

Thank you all for taken the time to read my blog. It means so much to me.

Blank Canvas Cosmetics 88 Matt Palette Review

Hey everyone, so I wanted something from Blank Canvas for some time now but was always putting it off and about a month ago I decided that it was time to get a palette. The main reason for getting the palette was that I wanted to do a tutorial for the 4th of July but it didn't come in time. The day after it came I was going away camping in Killarney for 2 weeks.

Blank Canvas is an Irish online cosmetics company. They sell  all sorts of palettes, brushes. The only thing that they don't have is foundation, you never know they might come out with that in the near future. All their products are reasonably priced. This 88 palette that I purchased cost me €23. The PP starts from €4.99. The bigger the palette the more the PP, you I wouldn't mind that as much I don't know about you. They also provide excellent brushes, I got the small socket complementary with my order. I love it.

The palette is just amazing. I always heard good things about Blank Canvas but I didn't think they it would be as good as this. All the shades are just fab. They are really pigmented, they have very little fall out. The texture of these shadows are very creamy and soft and not chalky at all.

As you can see these are amazing quality shadows and I am really happy that I purchased this palette. All the shadows are matt so this might not be for everyone, but I think that everyone should own a matt palette and for this price you can't go wrong. I didn't swatch all the colors as they are a lot of them. Some shades didn't come out too bring on my hand but I did get a bit of a color in the last few weeks so my hand is much darker. That last shade (blue) is just fab. I can't believe how bright it is. I did a video on this too if you would like to watch it here.

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog and I'll talk to you later xx
