March Favourites

Good morning everyone.  Can you believe that we are in April already. March has gone so fast. March was a good month for me as I had good fun with my sister and my family. Work was also going good. As it was going so good I had treated myself to a few beauty products. Well to be honest some of the things are new and some are not. As I am trying to use products that already have instead of buying new products all the time.

Beauty:

Most people have a huge amount of make up brushes. While I don't have that many. I have a few Real Techneques ones and just odd ones here and there. I jumped at the chance to try this make up brushes from Pennys (Primark) by the P.S line when they came in to store. They all cast €2.50 each. As they are so cheap I didn't think that they would be any good. But oh my god, they are as good as my Real Techneques. The bristles are synthetic and very soft. The angled brush I used to apply my blush and contour with. The second double ended stipple brush is very good to apply concealer with and highlight. The last one is also a double ended, one side is a dome shaped eye shadow brush and the other end is a short bristles angled side, very handy to apply your eyeliner with or also for your brows if you use power to shade your brows. They are really good quality of brushes. There isn't a very huge variery of brushes from this line.

Also from the P.S line from Pennys ( Primark) I love the lipliners. They are so creamy and glide one effortlessly. These are the one that I have.

From left- right
Nude, Burgundy, Plum, Red

For the past month I have been using the Maybelline Colossal Mascara and the Collection Super size mascara. I fist use the Collection Supersized as its little drier formula while the Maybelline is more on the wet side. I really like the both.

Instead of a foundation I have been using a Garnier BB cream. I like to wear it going to work as its a light coverage but it does the job, as I don't want to be covered in make up at work. I like the natural look. For those dark circles underneath my eyes as I have to get up so early in the morning I
use the Catrice All Round Concealer. This is my second one. Its really creamy and it don't crease underneath my eyes during the day.

I was never one for contouring my face but I have trying to do so and as they say practice makes perfect. I have been using other products to contour and it didn't look very nice so I was on a hunt for a good product and I think I have found it. Its the Sleep contour palette in Fair. It has the perfect contour shade, a nice highlight shade that is not over the top and a nice blush, that you have to use is very little as a little way goes a long way. The blush has a little bit of shimmer to is, something on to the highlight shade. I have to say that this is my life saver.

To take off all of my beautiful face every day I started using the Boots Cleansing lotion. It is infused with cucumber. It leave my face feel so smooth and silky. I love it and I wouldn't use anything else.

I have heard so many good things about the next two products. The first one is the Rimmel Pressed translucent powder. I can see why people all over the beauty community were raving about this. I use it for work and I have to say that its a miracle. The second product I bought a little while ago but I didn't use it that much its the MUA Highlight. I sometimes apply it on top of other highlighter to make it more dramatic. I know I am not very dramatic but sometimes I just want that little bit of  'oh lala'

Katie my sister bought me this perfume from Christmas and I have been using it nearly everyday. Its the Celine Dion Signature perfume. I love it. She know me well.

For the last but not least I have to share with you all my favorite boots, that I have been wearing as mush as I can with anything that will do with them. They are just so comfy and go with pretty much anything. I think I will have to show you guys. I bought these in Pennys (Primark)

Well guys those are my favorites for this month. What are your favorites last month. Let me know down in the comments below.

Nails Of The Day: MUA Apricot Candy

Good morning everyone. Its nearly April how fast is this year going? It only seems like yesterday was January. Since its spring I purchased some spring shade nail polish.

This particular polish is by MUA and the shade is called Apricot Candy. Its a peatchy shade, once I seen it I had to have it. I never has this shade of polish before.

This is a square 6.2ml bottle. The consistency is a little watery for me and applies some what streaky. Two coats would get it opaque with minor streaking. Three coats would be best for those of you who would like a very opaque coat.

I don't particularly mind having small amount of streaks as long as its not too visible. I am not a fussy person. All of MUA's nail polish is under €2. For that price I think that it is a good polish and I would totally buy the rest of the line. I like the packaging, the bottle is small and it would be very easy to travel with. Overall I like it and I would buy more.

Have you tries any of MUA's products or their nail polishes. Let me know what you though of them. I would love to hear from you in the coments below.

Thank you for stopping by.

Poptastic: Summer Look Jade Jazz, Cherry Sour and Atomic Aqua

Good morning guys and happy Monday again. I can't believe how fast Mondays come around.

In the last post that I did I with this Poptastic palette I said that I would do an other summer look for you and here it is. I really love how it turned out. I didn't plan on what shades I was going to use I just went with the flow. This is what I came up with.

This is the shades that I used to achieve this look.

On the lid: on the very middle I used Jade Jazz and in the inner and the outter corner I used Atomic Aqua. I didn't realise that these two shades would be very simular and in the photos it looks like I have one shade. On my tear ducked  I used Gold Mine to enhance the Jade Jazz and the Cherry Sour that I places on my lower lash line.

Bottom left: Jade Jazz, Cherry Sour and Aromic Aqua.

Face: for my base I used a BB cream to have a nice light base. I didn't even highlight or bronze my face just because I didn't want to cake up my face with loads of products. I hate the feeling that my face is very heavy with all he make up.

Blush: Colletion in Bashful
Mascara: Rimmel Scandaleyes Retoro Glam
Eyebrows: Avon eyebrow pencil in blonde
Gel eyeliner: Essence in 01. Midnight In Paris
Lips: Avon in Naughty but Nice

What do you think of this look?

Thank you all for visiting!

Electric Purple and Pizzaz Purple

Hello my beautiful reader!

This is a look that I came up with from the MUA Poptastic palette.

In this look I used the two puplrs I the palette. From this picture is doesn't looks like the two shades but it looks much better in real life. This is the steps that took to achieve this look!

For the base: as my face has got a natural tan and I didn't want from that I used a very sheer BB cream.

With some powder to take way any shine. No I didn't use any bronzer as I didn't really need it. I believe that if you have it naturally why put loads of products.

This picture looks like more of a blue shade but its the Electric Purple. I patted this shade all over my lid with a flat brush. It's a fabulous shade.

For the outter corner of my eye I used Pizzaz Purple. This is a lighted shade and its also fab! Pizzaz Purple is a sheer shade of purple.

I think this look is just fab and I live how it turned out. For my lips I used a pink lip liner I do t k ow the name of it because I got it in a palette ages ago.

I hope you understood what I was explaining. Still new to all of this!

Hope you all liked the look!

MUA Poptastic Palette First Impression and Comparison

Hey all I had tuck a small break. Summer had arrived in Ireland and when the sun comes out you have to take it all in as the rain my come the following day.

The other day I was in Supergrug and I picked up a MUA Poptastic palette. What drew me to this palette are the fab colours. As you know Rhys distroyed my other colour palette.

The other palette that I have by MUA is the Glitter Ball and I wasn't to pushed about it. I only used two shades and even at that I didn't use it as offen as I thought I would.

Both palette have the same packaging and is nothing exciting about it. Glitter Ball palette doesn't have names on the shadows but the Poptastic palette have named all the shadows and I really like that aspect.

These shades are from the Glitter Ball palette . Most of them are creamy and very soft shadows the only shade that I do like is he black one. But I have other black shadows that great.

These are from the Poptastic palette. First impressions are that I am in live with this palette. The shadows that I have tried they are all soft and easy to use. The test will be when I start using them in  a look. Which will be coming soon. Keep a look out for that.

I hope that was helpful to you all.

Do you have this palette?

Thanks all for visiting!
